Bowen Technique

Clients often say "how is it that I feel so different yet I didn't feel you doing much!!  Such is the power and effectiveness of Bowen's "less is more" approach.  Bowen Technique is so gentle it's perfect for those suffering with Fibromyalgia, Parkinsons, acute and chronic pain; even babies and the elderly can receive it.

What also sets Bowen apart from other therapies is the breaks between sets of moves.  This allows the Client's body time and space to respond.

The breaks also allow me to work on groups of people in one session.  It's a very special experience when you have a group healing session.

What can it help with?

I work with clients presenting with a variety of painful problems - jaw, neck, shoulder (including Frozen Shoulder), hip, back, sciatic pain - clients with carpel tunnel,  pelvic imbalances, migraines, digestive issues, the list goes on.

Sometimes clients discover the effectiveness of Bowen after exhausting other more known therapies.  I can't promise any outcome but I can promise I will do my very best to help you.

What is Bowen?

Bowen Technique is a system of remedial bodywork where the Therapist applies gentle rolling techniques to various "stress-loading" points on the body and then leaves the room for a few minutes at a time in order to allow the Client's system a chance to react and respond in the way it sees fit.

It's profoundly relaxing to receive which I believe helps the healing process enormously. Some clients feel a lot of sensations, even visualisations, others may not feel much at all. Whether you feel a lot or a little,  your body is undertaking its healing at its own pace.  The intelligence of the human body amazes me!
